I'm Amanda Klimek, owner of Fabulous Fur Boutique & Grooming, wife, and mom to many kiddos (2 legged and 4 legged). I have spent the first decade of adulthood in the steel industry, working for several different companies, new and old. While I love what I do (and will continue to do it), for years I have wanted to exercise my passion for animals by starting my own business revolving around their health and wellness. Combatting many "what ifs", my inspiration to finally take the leap stemmed from my beloved Border Collie, Elsie Bell. 5 years ago Elsie, at the young age of 5, came down with a severe respiratory illness that 3+ vets were unable to successfully identify and treat. We spent a month trying to figure out what was wrong, wondering if every day was going to be her last. Miraculously, her breathing started to improve after an emergency vet took a chance and threw any medication they could at it. This bout didn't leave her unaffected long-term though. She developed joint issues, her coat lost its sheen, she started gaining weight uncontrollably, and her brain wasn't as sharp as it used to be. Thus, I embarked on the journey to find products that would help aid in her pain relief and restore her coat. 5 years and more health issues later, here we are. Developing my own line of de-hydrated dogs treats and becoming a distributor for brands that I know and trust to share with you. Accompanying as many all natural products as possible, is my pledge to also focus on as many sustainable products as I can. Let's not forget about grooming. In addition, my grooming service came about after I found enjoyment from grooming my own dogs. It motivated me to begin offering a safe and affordable grooming environment for other's pets.
